Babe-equip Returns Policy
We hope you will be highly satisfied with any product purchased on our website but if you wish to return an item to us then we aim to make it as quick and convenient as possible.
Please make sure that you check your items carefully before they are used. We also recommend that you keep your invoice or order number, which can be found on your order confirmation or on the delivery packaging, as you might need it as proof of purchase in the event of any after-sales queries.
For all returns a return form must be completed and a returns number will be issued. The returns number must be stated on the outside of the parcel. For a damaged or faulty item please follow any instructions from us regarding how to send the return back to us.
For your own peace of mind, Babe-equip.co.uk Ltd work closely with trading standards to ensure that we always comply with current legislation.
Please note that if goods are sent back to us without a returns number we will be unable to issue you with a refund. Therefore please ensure you complete the returns form and obtain a return number before returning the goods. Returns costs are at your expense unless faulty or damaged in transit.
IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND...
Within 7 days
Most things we sell are covered by our 7-day money-back guarantee. Just complete a return form and wait for your returns number.
Then return them to us in their original packaging, in an unused, saleable condition, within 7 days from date of receipt along with the invoice or order number which can be found on your order acknowledgement or delivery packaging and we'll give you a refund or exchange.
For Personal Care Products we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges once the product has been handled washed or used.
Packs will only be accepted back if they are complete.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Personal Care Products are clearly shown on the listing pages during the purchase process.
If you would like us arrange the safe collection and return of any items we can organise this for you.
Charges are applicable and are shown below. If you wish to go-ahead with this method of return please use our Online Return Form or call Customer Services on 01977 663306 Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm.
Made to order items and personalised items can only be returned if found to be faulty. Beds, mattresses, and personal care products cannot be returned if unwrapped unless faulty.
Collection Charges
You can choose to either organise your own return, at your own cost, or request a collection. Our courier collects Mon-Fri between 10:00 - 18:00.
At least 24 hours notice is required to organise the collection. To take advantage of our collection service, charges are as follows:
£15 per box
Certain exceptions may apply with the larger items collected from the following postcodes:
Postcodes BT, IM, IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-78, PH30-44, PH49-50,TR21-25, ZE
You will be informed of the returns charge applicable to you when requesting the collection.
A non-refundable collection charge of £40 will be applied to selected larger items due to surcharges imposed by the courier.
These are marked as '* Additional Return Charges Apply' on the individual item listing.
Collection charges will still apply if delivery is refused unless the product (not the packaging) is faulty/damaged (following verification at the service centre).
Please note that if you are not using the original packaging or if you have written on the box, a re-boxing fee of £4 per box will be added to your collection charge. Your box size must be within the following dimensions. If the box is outside these dimensions, we will incur a surcharge of £25 from our carrier which will be passed on to you. The size of each Parcel must not exceed 3 metres length and girth (measured around its thickest part) combined and 1.5 metres for the greatest dimension:
Calculation = Length (largest dimension) + (Width + Width + Height + Height) = 300cm or less.
IF THERE'S A FAULT WITH THE PRODUCT...
Within 28 days (New products only)
If you wish to return your new item(s) within 28 days from the date of receipt, please complete a return form and we'll give you a replacement or a refund, following verification at the service centre. No collection fee is charged. Note this does not apply to pre used products.
If your item is lightweight you may be asked to return the item by post. If this is the case, you will be refunded the postage for second class return.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Between 28 days - 6 months (new products)
Within 56 days (pre used products)
If you've had the product for up to 6 months (new products) or 56 days (pre used products) following the date of receipt, please complete a returns form. We'll repair the product or, if that's not possible, give you a replacement or, if that's not possible, a refund. No collection fee is charged.
If your item is lightweight you may be asked to return the item by post. If this is the case, you will be refunded the postage for second class return.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
6 months + (new products)
From 56 days (pre used products)
If you've had the product for more than 6 months (new products) or 56 days (pre used products) following the date of receipt, we can obtain a quote from the manufacturer for repair.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION...
Collections
We monitor our carriers on a regular basis and believe we use the best companies in the industry to care for and collect/deliver your goods. As we use external couriers, collections are susceptible to conditions outside of our command. If your goods have not been collected on the day we stated then please email us at Customer-services@babe-equip.co.uk and we will rebook the collection.
We are unable to accept liability for loss or damage of goods if the goods are left out for the courier.
Returns Outside the UK
We are unable to organise returns from outside the UK. These will need to be returned at your own cost.
Incorrect Item(s) Sent
We send many items to satisfied customers every week. However, due to human or technical failure, we do, on occasion, send an incorrect item. In the unlikely event of this happening we will undertake the following:
If your item is bulky we will arrange for the incorrect item to be collected and the correct item sent to you via courier.
If your item is lightweight you may be asked to return the incorrect item by post. If this is the case, you will be refunded the postage for second class return.
Refund Procedure
Once we have received and verified the returned item we will initiate the refund, replacement or exchange.
If we have arranged the collection on your behalf, we will issue a refund less the applicable collection charges back to your card account.
Any payments made by PayPal will be refunded via PayPal.
Any refunds due to the customer will be processed within 30 days of receipt of the goods by Babe-equip, as per Distance Selling Regulations.

Packaging & Procedure
Please can you ensure your order is boxed securely and tape an envelope to the outside of the box containing your invoice, returns number and reason for return. If you do not have your invoice please write your name, address, returns number, order number and reason for return. Please write the following address on the outside of the envelope:
